Customer service software helps companies organize, integrate, or automate
their service operations. Software is available relating to nearly every
area of customer interaction, at multiple department levels - from sales to tech support to billing and AR management. From
a call center standpoint, customer service software is often referred to as
CRM Software or
Helpdesk Software.
CRM, or Customer Relationship Management, software covers a variety of functionality, and can contain a wide
array of business tools. Helpdesk software on the other hand, is primarily focused on support-related activities such as
managing technical support calls processes.
